Some things belong in sight.
Some can wait. Tuck gives your menu bar a little breathing room.
You don’t need every app in view, all the time. Give each one a simple rule and let the menu bar feel like yours again.

Click the native arrow to bring hidden items back. Or reach for the keyboard shortcut.
Choose an optional 5, 10, or 30 second rehide delay. Tuck can start with your Mac, too.
When you need the rest, there’s a shortcut for that.

Tuck is an early preview. Here’s what’s new, and what to expect along the way.

A new name, a native arrow, refreshed app rules, and a drag-to-install home. Your existing rules come along.
This preview requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 27 or later. It has been tested locally on macOS 27.2. Support across other macOS versions and setups has not been broadly validated.
Open the downloaded DMG and drag Tuck into Applications. Launch it from Applications, then grant Accessibility access when prompted. This preview is ad hoc signed and not Apple-notarized, so macOS may require approval. Only approve a download you trust; don’t disable macOS security protections. Quit Tuck before installing a newer build.
Tuck uses Accessibility permission to manage and interact with menu bar items. It does not require Screen Recording permission or a Tuck account. Your Keep/Hide rules are stored on your Mac.
Rules apply to the app that owns an icon, so multiple icons from the same app are handled together. Helper processes and system items may behave differently. Another menu bar manager can interfere with Tuck’s behavior.
The menu bar backend uses private macOS frameworks and may need updates when macOS changes. Some system controls or keyboard paths can be affected while items are hidden; reveal the menu bar first. Tuck is an experimental preview, not a broadly validated production release. Quitting Tuck restores the menu bar.
